A Road
Through a road in the dark world I walk
Silently.
Long and scary is this road
Filled with monsters and demons
And blood suckers coming at you.
But still, I walk.
I am not part of this world.
I have a destination
But I must walk this road in order to get to it.
I walk alone.
So of course the dark nature decides to pick on me.
I knew it would.
So still, I walk.
Step, after step, after step, after step.
Then all of a sudden,
I feel a sharp pain.
Like claws, or fangs, sinking deeply into my flesh.
WHY DID I DECIDE TO TAKE THIS ROAD!?!?
I’m not one of them!
I have a destination,
But I don’t know where or WHAT that is!
School? Hell? The mall?
I don’t know, but I continue to walk.
Something is making me keep going.
Then, a cloud of darkness surrounds me.
Coming from the shadows I see . . .
People.
Lonely faces.
The type of people I roll my eyes at when
I see them sitting in corners by themselves.
Except now, they’re bloody.
Now, I feel sorry for them.
But the expression on their faces tells me not to.
It dawns on me now,
That the monsters
Were just the deep spirits of those misunderstood.
Everything is clear to me now.
My destination is revelation.
The darkness will always be there
To remind me how bright my world is.
“It takes a crazy experience to open the eyes of the Light World.”
