~Nightmare Dawn~

You put your arms around me
I shudder from the pain
You yell and hit me
Under blankets I am lain

My blood flows everywhere
It stains the death black dirt
You whisper that you're sorry
You never meant to cause this hurt

You leave me lying in the dark
I'm starting to feel really cold
I open my eyes to look around
In this light, these stones look very old

This will soon be over
All will soon be gone
My heart beat slows and almost stops
I'll be dead by dawn

I wrote this poem during the first semester of my Sophmore year of high skewl.
You spilled my blood with your own hands
You murdered me in the rain
I was your friend, lover, and wife
To bad my blood on your hands won't stain

Light starts to peak through the trees
All life from me is gone
I'll never be alive again
This is my nightmare dawn

You've lain me in this yard
The dead lay all around me
You've covered up my body
I'm somewhere nobody can see

Look up at the stars and feel my pain
You took my life away
I'm cursed to stay in limbo until I'm found
I'm cursed until that day

You put that bottle to your lips
You drank your pain away
My memory still is with you
My life which you have slain

Six years did pass
Other spirits came and went
I thought up a solution
And a miracle I was sent

Our worlds are connected
I found another way out
To slay the life which had slain mine
I'd do it without a doubt

I found a connection and crossed over
My mission had begun
I was after you
Your life would soon be done.
